Hello Floyd, Janis, Janice and Bud and Misha, Again I am quite late with my response on your posts. Sorry for that. I have some excuses, but still I am late. Thanks for your nice words, I will answer the individualy down under ;-) And thanks also for the nice words on my return to the forum. They were tough months. Hans,
NOT Completely Lost... Completely Found His Way.
Good Good Good in every way. A cool write. Interesting lyrics and interesting melody. COOL tracks! A very original sound. Excellent mix. Every aspect of your music making has continually improved. You are Killing It. Top of the mountain.
SO good!
fj Wow Floyd, hadn't expect this write from you. What a nice reply! Thanks for this. I try not to become vain... Hi Birchwood,
The vocals are well done. The instruments are well positioned to create this particular atmosphere. I appreciated. Hi Janis, a very nice write from you too. Not as lyrical as Floyd's response, but still... Thanks for that! Wow, Hans, welcome back! We’re so glad to hear your voice again and you sound great…and still remind us of John! You are a master of dynamics and of cool arrangements. The intro had us envisioning a dance club on the second listen and Janice said she could see the girl dancing with complete abandon. We agree with others on the effectiveness of the spoken word parts. The mix too is ace. We enjoyed it and are so happy that you are back and better than ever! J&B Hi Janice and Bud, your words can compete with those of Floyd. So a 'wow' for you too! When writing the lyrics I had the same as you described about that girl. I wanted to make some kind of lovestory, but only in the head of the singer. It's a beautiful thought that she will never know that she has lit a 'flame' in someone's head... Hans, #1 - I am glad you are recovering well and onboard!
Fun off-beat tune. A colorful tapestry of instruments and sounds that go well together. Ace vocals and mix. Complex, yet listens well. Thank you for sharing.
Misha.
Hi Misha, I feared you would write the vocals were a bit 'hot' or something like that... Thanks for the nice words, makes me feel I'm on move getting better. We'll talk again, Hans

Hans,
Really cool start to this one . . . Like those hip hop ghost pads panned to the left . . . nice and moody. For me, the vocal is a little high end and I’d like to see them come down a bit and sit a bit better in the mix . . . but that’s just me . . . see what others think and in the end go with your gut. Cool song, though. Well done!!
All my best to you,
Deej

Hi Leon and Deej, Thanks for your posts on this song. I was afraid the vocals were damaged, but luckily they are not. That means you will here more songs before the end of the year ;-) Good to have you back, Hans. Interesting song, very well put together and your vocal sounds as strong as ever. Regards, Leon Leon, so nicely written. Thanks for that. Hans, Really cool start to this one . . . Like those hip hop ghost pads panned to the left . . . nice and moody. All my best to you, Deej Hi Deej, Thanks also for your post and suggestion. today I listened again to my song, but could not hear what you heard. Of course I want to sit in the mix, but still think I do. So what to do now? But whatever it will be, I wish you both a great day! Hans

Hans,
This is a great rock song.
A very techno Imagine Dragons/U2/Muse sound for you, but it is hot man. Nice work on the vox.
The mix may have been a little muddy in places and the vox could be a little clearer (I think, it could be my speakers) but overall it is great rock and roll.)
Good job!

Hi David, I was listening to other songs just now, trying to catch up, when I noticed your post. So this has to be my fastest answer ever! I think you are right on the muddy pieces and the vocals, especially the s-sounds. I don't thinkl it is muddyness, but my struggle with the drum stems and Ozone 11. I just had it, but where I thought it would ease my life I was wrong. And for the vocals I think I might have used a bit too much reverb and delay. Thanks, Hans,

So good to hear from you Hans. What a cool intro. Just loved the melody and groove to the song. Super vocal and lyric. Backrtrack was excellent as well. Moved up to the top of my favorite tunes of yours. Well done.

Hi Hans, listened to your song and here's my feedback. Technical feedback: - Nice and open mix with some bold but good choices
- Good vocals, they sound better with each new song
Artistic feedback: - Cool arrangement decisions, like the mixing part you have some very bold but excellent choices
- Different, but in a very positive way. Love it!

Hello Scott and Brian, Thanks a lot for your reaction on this first song after that surge of mine, I think that was the reason I wanted to deal with something like a dance... So good to hear from you Hans. What a cool intro. Just loved the melody and groove to the song. Super vocal and lyric. Backrtrack was excellent as well. Moved up to the top of my favorite tunes of yours. Well done. Hi Scott, I'm very pleased I have risen on your list! As I said, I wanted something with a dance, but also a bit different from what I did before. And you liked it! Hi Hans, listened to your song and here's my feedback. - Good vocals, they sound better with each new song

Hi Brian, I like your use of the word 'Bold' in choises. I know you made them to in your songs and lyrics. And I love that, as you know. I am very happy with your comments. The only thing is I need to sing along with Natalie, don't you think so too? Have a very nice day! Up here it is rainy, Hans
