I may be misreading you, but I think that's the way it's supposed to work. RB can send cc messages to ST, but ST cannot send cc messages to RB. That would be normal for about any vsti I would think. Try this. Left click to Select the track you want, then right click and select 'insert volume change'. (it's toward the bottom) Set what you want . Then Hit your dxi button so that you can see ST, move that window around a little until you can see your play button on RB. Hit play and see in your vol doesn't go to the exact value you put in. It should. And of course, if you hit save, that info is saved in the event list and it should persist. If you want a volume change anywhere else, right click out in the track (say bar 15) and that should move the cursor there, do the 'insert' thing again and it should place that change exactly where the cursor is.
