regarding #1.... Click on your name in the upper right, preferences, and go down to Show Signatures and select "Always" I know my first few posts in the new forum software didn't show my signature.... I was like.... What the HEY? This is not cool..... regarding #2.....I don't often use emojis...... :-)  But apparently it's working for me..... Note: I had to go to full reply and select the emoji from the row above the text box.... simply doing the semicolon dash parenthesis doesn't work....... NOTE #2: you can now edit covertly... just uncheck the box.... what do you mean? Huuuuh? I never said THAT! Hahaha. Like I mentioned I made sure signature was turned on - I should’ve said “always” is checked. So meaning the issue continues for me. For the emoji thing did you select it from your mobile device keyboard or from the forum option? Selecting from the keyboard is what blew up my post. Thanks, Bud PS can you see my signature with the links, etc.?
