Is it possible to make a portable player that can run on both a smart phone and a PC. To easily play or listen to a song (sgu file) without starting a program, (can only be used after entering your own serial number) Thank you in advance,

You can render the SGU to mp4 video with chord sheet or to m4a audio that can be played locally on an SD card or usb stick. You can also put them on a sever https://reatrak.com/downloads/biab/style-player/

There's no current way that I know that will allow a BiaB .SGU file to be played directly on a smart phone. As mentioned, you can render the song file to an audio file from inside BiaB and then copy the resulting audio file to your smartphone device. Then use an audio player in the smartphone to play the song directly. I do this regularly, and use an app named: "FolderPlayer" which also has random play selection, however there are many other apps on the market that will do the same thing.

If you want to play SGU's with a portable player then you would need all wma RealTrack and RealDrum source files. Yes, this might be very challenging for a mobile phone type device. It could be done on a smaller computer such as a Surface Pro.

Well, technically it's not a crazy idea. Like Bandlab's online DAW.
PG Music could have an active Band In A Box somewhere in the server... You log in with your credentials and have a "shell" that resembles BIAB on your phone,.but much simpler, with no content. All the heavy duty is done on the servers and the result is bounced back to the phone in a form of mp3 or other small playable file.
An online version of BIAB with phone interface....
Not sure how high demand for this might be.

Just my opinion
Options exist for playing standard audio formats on just about every OS in existence.
Many great applications with lots of features for a lot of different workflows are out there now.
BIAB currently exports at least a few of these formats.
BBRemote server was not the most useful tool ever built.
It seems a bit of a solution looking for a problem.
At least to me.
