I recently returned home from a 5 month RV trip to the Northeast. As always I managed to cross paths with some unusual and interesting folks. This year I met a man who was traveling by himself half the year as he has for the last ten years. His wife refused to travel anymore so he went by himself. She divorced him and after two years moved back into his house where for the last 8 years they continue to live for half the year as roommates. He now is in the process of selling the house, so where they go now is the question. I found it all very confusing and after he told me this strange story he said “Well there you go”. It rolled around in the back of the song truck until I got home and then it fell out. This is the end result. Thanks for listening. Fabulous song but I REALLY didn't like the reverb/delay/spring slap part of the intro guitar.
It made more sense when the snare joined it but I'm still not a fan.

What a terrific, cool song! I'm on listen #2 as I type this. Love the simplicity of the arrangement. Simplicity isn't all that easy if you're looking for a full sound. Yet you pull it off so perfectly.

Lovely understated lyrics. Wonderful song, Tom. My only sugg would be to try and downplay the first chorus a tad by leaving out something so as to build to the final choruses. It may not work though.  Vic
