The vocal was heavily processed (needless to say). I wanted it to be in-the-mix as opposed to up-front. It gets pushed down pretty hard, but on all the sources I listened on, I thought it was still hear-able. (Though I could imagine it might get "trampled" on some devices...)

I’m on my laptop so not the best medium to provide production suggestions, but it seems to me the vocal is a little too . . . not sure I can find the right word . . . tamped down? Too low end? Particularly later in the song, starting shortly after the second chorus, maybe as some of the other instrumentation kicks in where it almost gets diminished a tad for me. I'm the only one mentioning it, so It’s most likely just what I’m listening on. Cool tune regardless.

You and Ron bring up the same point. It was a balancing act attempting to process the vocal to have that "ominous" sound and still having it be understandable (and not too bass-y). One of those things that you get to the point of "that'll have to do". Guess it was not as successful as I had thought.
