This is great! I seriously admire these lyrics.
It's clear that you have a great deal of musical and lyrical skill in this genre.

Yes, the lyric makes perfect sense and you sing it very well too. There are some cool rhymes within the lines. We’ll be waiting to see that Amnesia Tequila distributed by you and Marty.  Excellent band and mix. Enjoyed this great helping of fine good ole country! J&B

Yep, the lyrics are just right. I'm a huge fan of pedal, so this one was a particularly nice listen. As I listened, I was thinking who the vocal style reminded me of. Then it smacked me in the face (ouch!) - Joe Nichols. Cool song - really nice listen!
Alan If you could arrange for Joe to sing this Alan I'll give you a finder's fee! LOL Thanks for listening and confirming my hopes on the lyrics!

Edit.... Oh yeah tequila. Man.... One night.... Let me simply say... It was the only time I've seen double. The hangover lasted 3 excruciating days. And it was just for grins. Tequila scares me to this day. I tried it once straight up years ago and will never do that again! It seemed to me to be the best drink of choice for this song, though. Thanks for listening, Guitarhacker.
