Black Hole (2023, Chris Spruit)

so you told me it is over
no more chance
a new life's coming,
On your demand
the black hole opens
darkest notions
taking me in
no more talking
just walking the pain
all over me

what is left
what is your right
to walk out of my life
black hole opens
swallow my pride
where is the love gone
no other chance of
you coming home

Black hole
dragging my soul
Inside the hole
my Pain seems to fade
so does the hope
of your coming home
Back to
Back to being alone

When you three get together I know the song is going to be a killer!

Outstanding vocal, bass, guitar, and mix.

This is some fantastic blues.

You three are simpatico.
The sound of a unit that could play live, and let each other fly.
I really dig the L trem and your vocal like guitar phrases are coooool.
Christine is tearing notes and hearts while Marty is holding the bottom end together very tastefully.
The early Clapton (key to love) guitar phrasing that starts the solo is F.A.B.
ACE.
Marty, that bass tone is killer.

Cheers

Thanks, Mario & Ray. I'm glad you're along for this ride. Dave has quickly become my favorite guitarist, and Chris... well, she was my favorite singer even before i heard her fir thge first time. Thanks for the nod on the bass tone, Ray. Much of the credit goes to Dave. My bass always sounds better when he mixes it.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Really appreciate all of that, thanks, Ray! We have a blast working on these songs and have been doing it a long time, since 2015 for Chris and myself.

Dave, Chris & Marty,

Every song is a hit! This is no exception. The three of you have a very distinct and pro sound.

Loved every minute of it.

Chris/Dave/Marty,

you guys already know that I like each of your solo works, but together you are more than the sum of your parts.
It's really fantastic in every regard.

Great pro sound and performances. Love the guitar sound and the tremolo rhythm parts are perfect. I can’t think of anything that would improve this. Well done, Tom

Dave, Marty and Chris...very sultry...Chris kills this one ( the best female vocals on this forum hands down)...Dave, your solo work and tastes are so refined and nuanced and Marty always lays such a flawless and firm foundation to build on...a painfilled lyric delivered paradoxically in such an appealing manner (who would have thought that could be done?) smile

Black Hole, that's one of my favorite pinball machines.

I love the space between the lines as Chris sings. I'm a big fan of your guitar work: distinctive and creative. Marty is solid on the low end.

Absolutely fantastic song. Production sounds professionally done.

So, when are the three of you going on tour?

Man, you three are so good. The pacing, the phrasing, the skill on your instruments/vocals... it's all there and then some.

All the good words are already taken, so I'll just repeat what's been said: Outstanding.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Hi Dave, Chris and Marty.

[Linked Image from dl.dropboxusercontent.com]

Dave... this is totally, utterly and magnificently brilliant. And I mean that without any hint of hyperbole. Your creating, arranging and production chops are skills I admire greatly.

Marty... you bass work is an absolutely perfect fit with the genre. Your talent is outstanding.

Chris... I am so impressed with the clarity of your vocals. You have taken this presentation way, way, way beyond "fantastic".

Mighty impressive work!
