In other words, I'd like to request that the "+" button in the "Edit Settings for Bar n" window perform the same way it does up top, when you're accessing your own patch map. (At the moment, the F5 "+" button offers only GM choices.)

This would be valuable to those of us who work out arrangements at the desktop, trying out different style insertions with a convenient soundfont or DXi - but then want to hear how things sound with more favored (higher bank) sounds on the hardware synth. Another way to put it: it'd permit more quickly deciding on patches (and hence provide greater confidence in the chosen styles) before exporting to MIDI for final workup in a sequencer. We've got bar insertions now, so why not provide the same flexibility for embedded changes as there is at the song outset?

BTW, it'd be great to have the comparable button work that way in the stylemaker as well.

Thanks for considering this, -Ron
