OP Raquel Cruz Newbie R Joined: Sep 2022 Posts: 10 United States	So recently I changed the VST plugin to Aria Multi Channel, and for some reason the bass instrument plays one octave lower than it should and sometimes itll go out of range. DrDan Veteran Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 12,948 Wauconda	I suspect the OP needs to adjust the Bass-Midi not a RT Audio Bass. If that is the case, then the same menu shown above will work, but you need to click on "Edit Midi" to raise the Bass an octave. Let us know which it is? We tend to keep score on who guess correct. Try this: Click on the Bass Track, select the "Track Settings and Actions Dialog" <F7> Then choose Edit MIDI as follows: BIAB & RB2026 Win.(Audiophile), Windows 10 Pro & Windows 11, Cakewalk Bandlab, Izotope Prod.Bundle, Roland RD-1000, Synthogy Ivory, Session Keys Grand S & Electric R, Kontakt, Focusrite 18i20, KetronSD2, NS40M, Pioneer Active Monitors.

Gordon Scott Veteran Joined: Jan 2015 Posts: 2,662 Hampshire, UK	If this is a persistent issue, e.g., you play to use that bass VSTi most or all of the time, then you can set this offset in the Preferences->Channels dialog. Bass is shifted down an octave by convention, which suits the player and most VSTis, but not every VSTi. Changing this affects the bass track. Good suggestion.
