A quick background - I have no prior musical foundation (played mary had a little lamb with a wind instrument back in high school, but that is the extent of my education).

Everything is so overwhelming and honestly learning , I've just been playing around in Ableton and seeing if I can make anything that sounds like what I want (but with no luck)
