I'm new to the forum and am strongly considering purchasing BIAB. I am aware that BIAB is designed to create backing tracks and not to function as a software-based arranger where one can define and trigger chord progressions in real time on a connected MIDI keyboard. But is it possible to create PARTS of a song - i.e. pre-defined chord progressions in a certain style that could be triggered in real time in whatever order was desired via user-assignable keys on a connected MIDI controller? The intent would be to allow one to perform an ad hoc jazz session by playing such pre-defined chord progression variations on the fly . Just curious if this is doable with BIAB.

It's been requested many times, but the current version does not incorporate this 'Arranger Style' functionality. Perhaps it might in the future though.
