Thanks for another positive response, Mario, but while you and others have all commented on the lengths of my instrumentals I do feel that it's a matter of taste, be it re a pure BiaB track or other material. One of the great joys of my life since I was a teenager has been listening at length to music, be it an old vinyl album, single or double, 45-90 miuntes of an audio tape in one go or whole CDs. A lady friend of mine calls it taking a music bath. In all such I love long tracks of which there are gaziilions longer than mine, including songs or part song part instrumentals like BS&T's "Blues Part 2" or Love's "Revelation". Also, listening to a long track in a mixed playlist comes across differently to when played solo. I also feel that any song or instrumental should be listened to at least 3 times as I've found that tracks I love the first time I hear them I end up loathing after often being played ("Chicago's "If You Leave Me Now" is am example for me as I bought the single right after first hearing it, then a couple of days later I loathed it!). laugh I also mentioned on a different thread that the first couple of times I heard Neil Young's "Zuma" album it totally left me cold, but a few week's later I loved it and still do. I'm shortly to post a just under 6 minute new instrumental and the odds are someoner will say it's too long!
