You should be able to highlight the section of bars then drag the track name to DROP MID then drag MID into the other Biab using Merge option and set amount of bars to insert before. Say I want to copy bars 5-8 I set bars to insert before is 6 (2 count-in an 4 bars). I didn't have much success with that method. I could drag the track to the MIDI drop zone, and drag it from the drop zone to the second instance, The Merge with existing data was disabled when I tried to drag to the same track in the second instance. Definitely it gave unexpected results, including renaming the destination track as Strings, with no notation on it. Cut / copy / paste options would be preferable.
