Mario,
Nice one. Really like the drum work in this one—really pops. The flute sounds pretty solid as well—front and center, though a little bit of a synth feel to it that, regardless works well. When you say, “I modified the BIAB tracks to better fit the song,” I’m curious about what you mean by that. In what way modified? Would be cool to hear what you did (i.e., learning opportunity for me). Thanks—and good tune!
All my best,
Deej Thanx so much Deej. I could not get the right groove while working ing BiaB. Even when using the microchords I could not get the feel that I wanted as far as the timing and chord changes. I brought the song into Studio One Pro 6 and did the changing there and copy and pasted those changes through out the song. Since I work in MIDI making said changes wasn't that difficult. On most of my songs I usually make changes to the BiaB MIDI tracks.
My wife had her driving test today. She got 8 out of 10. The other 2 jumped out of the way!

Hi, Mario.
Fun listen. Glad you're feeling better! Thanx. Yep I'm back to my "normal" self.

Hi Mario.
You really are very talented at creating music that sets ambience. So many of your works reflect, create and interpret mood. This piece is no exception. It all come together very nicely. I hope your covid is done and dusted! I've only had the virus once but it took me a long time to recover fully from it (and that was despite having four vaccinations).
Wishing you well! --Noel Thanx Noel for this fantastic review. Yep, my Covid is gone. All but one in my family got Covid and all were mild cases. Those that got Covid only had the first two shots and no boosters. The one that didn't get it had a case of it a couple of years ago but didn't get any shots. We have family members whom have all of the vacs and have Covid a number of times. Go figure!

Where the heck have I been? I LOOK for Mario magic when here, but missed this one all the way to page 2. Sheesh.
So glad that has been rectified. Man, what a fun piece. I really dig the bed of music the soloists flow over. You have that magic touch no matter which controller you use. Glad you're well. Super cool guitar solo, playing with the bg pieces.

Super cool guitar solo, playing with the bg pieces. Thanx Marty. I started with a keyboard controller many years ago. Then it was on to a guitar and wind controllers. I am better at using the keyboard controller over the wind controller as I can do a number of things simultaneously that I can't do with the wind controller. BUT with the wind controller I can control the volume better.

Cool tune Mario. Loved the kick on the intro. Really gets you into the tune. Flute was cool and the guitar was right up my alley. Loved the tone and excellent licks. Well done

Hi Mario,
I saw i nearly missed this song of yours. A cool melody and that flute sounds very good in it. I thought that it would be too difficult to combine this style with that flute. But, as I wrote, it is very good. The flute sounds so realistic too. You can hear the breathing, or the start of it on the flute. Very nice! A good one, Mario!
Hans
