Can you render to wav format? What I always do is to use a rendered wav file and then convert it to mp3 using BonkEnc Audio Encoder. This little program is freeware and offers a great deal of control over the quality output of the mp3. I particularly like the fact that I can encode with a variable bit rate as this can give me 192 kb/s quality file that is considerably smaller than 192 kb/s fixed bit rate.
