Mario & Alan: what is the B3 of which you speak? That baffled me as there's no B3 mentioned in my Styles list.

Noel: The name Daley Knightly comes from a parody on spy and detective TV series I'm writing. All of the characters have comic names and there's one enemy spy in it called Anita Noe!

David: Re "Does a pine cone in a forest miss the tree once it has fallen?" That's clearly spy code, but depending on the circumstances the reply can be "What does a mirror look like when no-one's looking at it?" or (bizarrely) "Is the Count of Abacus eating mackerel with your first fore-mother tonight?"
