Monday Monday is one of my favorite older recordings posted here. It's about fear of commitment versus the ties that bind... I always thought the tempo was just a little bit too slow, the intro guitar level to low (compared to the rest of the song), and the overall song volume could be bumped up a little as well. Then there's the extra treble I added. Still, not quite the amount of enhancements I wanted to do but it's close to saturation (and overdrive). Much to my surprise all of this could easily be done with the free Audacity. So here's the 2023 version. Hope ya like it! This is really nice. Everything sounds pretty danged good to me. Your vocal in the lower register is really nice!
One thing I noticed: The rhythm of the left-channel guitar is really nice. But I think a little more of something on the right channel would help to balance that. But, after having said all that, this is a really nice sound. I always love the music both of you post for us.
I left a comment over on one of the other forums about how Audacity has so greatly improved, particularly with its latest updates. Lots of nice features. It's getting close to being a basic DAW. I've been using it for many years. Every one of my and Di's vocals has been generated with Audacity.
This is rerally nice. Thanks for a pleasant listen.

So strong. A good write and production, Rob. Your vocals always so darn good. Professional all the way. Man, what range and control. Love those harmonies, Anne-Marie. I listened a couple times so far, and always come back to my first-word impression: STRONG. Such a good sound.

Hi, Rob. Love the sound! You've got a great voice, and the instrumentation/mix drives the song along. It may not be exactly what you want, but sounds excellent through my speakers.  Audacity got quite the upgrade, didn't it?

The song is terrific! Even so are your lyrics and the harmonies with Anne-Marie
The way you go high in the chorusses is magnificent. when I was younger I could do the same, but that's impossible now.
I enjoyed it.
And I also got the feeling you sounded like jim Groce i the lowerer parts (the verses). Like that too!
Maybe this song could be a winner on the Eurovision song contest! (but they chose another one...)

Superb song! I can imagine Gene Pitney singing it.I love the whole arrangement and mix. The opening lyrics combined with the title reminded me of UK 1960s comedy show's fake weather forecast: Tomorrow will be muddy, followed by tuedy, weddy and thawday.
