I have no doubt about that.
Changing retrospectively from modal to non-modal is usually much harder work than one expects, because one has to identify and manage all of the things that were previously impossible that may now break the whole system. They can be hard work right from the start, of course, but at least one get's toi check things as one progresses.

I suspect(!) that much of the hard work has now been done. Dockable would be nice.
