I'm, still, completely without inspiration as to writing new songs. No idea what the problem seems to be, but ... the Muse is simply not there. So: instead of torturing myself to create something, when the inspiration has clearly gone walkies, I've decided to make some videos for some of my old songs. Here's one of them ... hope you enjoy! I'm so sorry, the file with the BIAB instrumentation has also gone walkies, it seems. Argh  . Here are the lyrics, though: NOTHING WITHOUT YOU I walked down every path, all of my life, I looked for you, in peace and strife, Alas, you're far away, where I can't go, Not knowing how I feel, which hurts me so ... That's a gorgeous video, James! Love the song. You are so good with the spoken word delivery.
I have no idea how to make a video for YouTube - or any other video hosting site. Wish I did! But, you do an excellent job!
As I always do, I thoroughly enjoyed your song.

That's a beautiful arrangement of a tune I haven't heard before, and a nice video that syncs up nicely. AI will no doubt supercharge the video process before we know it...
In my experience, I don't worry about finding the muse, she'll find me. For now, look like you've found a creative outlet that works for you. Well done!

What a beautiful song.
Your chord progression and choice of sounds is perfect for this song.
As usual your spoken parts are fantastic.
IMHO this is your best to date.

Hi James. What a great idea... channeling your creativity into video making for songs that you've already written. That's something that I should do! I love what you've done. It suits your composition really well. I'm pretty sure that I haven't heard this song. I love the structure and the lyrics content. My favourite lyric is... Hello James,
Everything Alan wrote in his post here could have been said by me. Including the difficulties of making videos.
I think your strongest point is that you create your songs in a spoken way. The lyrics are very good/beautiful.
And the way you present them makes the words feel very sensitive.
