When I simulate different styles on a given song, the tempo is set by the song. How could we get the tempo to adapt to the style, like in Tontrack EZKeys, for example.

My song is at 100, I want to test a style at 65 (original tempo of the style tested). With a double click my song with the new style listened to is at 100.
Could we get the tempo to adapt itself to the style tested, without having to modify the tempo in the tempo window?

I couldn't find it, but maybe it exists?

That's a good observation. I've experienced that. So, would you like the tempo in the orange box to change as you scroll down the list of styles? Or just change the song tempo to match the selected style while demoing?

Exactly " change the song tempo to match the selected style while demoing"

FWIW, I personally would prefer if it used the tempo of my song, rather than the one for the demo.
Possibly that could be an option.

Just one more button, like in the EZ.
The tempo of the styles was not designed by chance, the RT and RD were recorded at this tempo. This gives another consistency to the song. A different point of view.
As an option, obviously

Right. Your choice of tempo may make that style sound terrible. So, do you then want the program to adapt? The drums are likely able to do so, but that much of a tempo change in your example will be a problem for most RealTracks.

Indeed. For me, I usually have a pre-defined song and tempo, and I'm looking for a style that fits them.
A songwriter may prefer to find a style that suits their purpose and then fit the tempo of the song to that of the style.
Both approaches obviously have their merits and demerits.

Do be careful with changing the tempo by more than about 10%. RealTracks can produce undesirable artifacts with the time-stretching algorithm if the original tempo is moved too much.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
