Since any recording I do is via a stand alone recorder i.e. BR-1180 I add hand claps the old fashion way by clapping into the mic on a separate track. Then I double the track on the recorder as many times as I have to so I can get a fuller sound. But again this is not done using BIAB or RB's recording capabilities, so I am not sure this will help you.
I would think if you are recording using BIAB or RB Mac's style tweaking would be the way to go.
