Like Danny C, I use a mic to add handclaps, but I don't do it by actually clapping into a mic. I do it by smacking my thighs while wearing my favorite jeans. Sounds great, each track sounds like you're getting two people to clap at the same time. If you have a good rhythmic sense, you can even make an occasional clap "a little off-beat" to make the track sound fuller and less sterile. When I double that track, it already sounds like a group of folks clapping without a hundred overdubs. Quick and painless (well, except for my red legs! LOL).

Of course, as Danny mentioned, it's not really done within BiaB, though.
