Ha!  As others have said, fun pop. As vacuous a write as possible, intentionally so. There's a bit of cognitive dissonance in listening to the lyrics. I know the character is supposed to believe each and every word he's singing, but as listeners we're in on the joke you don't believe it at all. I like it a lot!
