I always move my tracks to my DAW where I can easily grab a kick or snare hit, copy and paste it to where I want to get what I need. I find that method so much easier and quicker than trying to figure out how to get the software to do what I want in BB. I have also added midi tracks and synths to the project and played the part into the song and used volume envelopes to do the edit as needed. With proper EQ, no one even notices that it is a different kick, snare, bass, or piano in that specific measure or two.

In truth, I do exactly what Herb does for drum mods, for the same reasons. Some of the new BiaB tools MIGHT make me start doing more inside of BiaB. But I've got a pretty fast workflow right now, and then there's that whole old-dog-new-tricks paradigm...
