Quite a few.

I often hear the chord progression of a famous jazz song in PG Music song demos, and the basic genre and feel of the two are the same or similar. All the PG Music demo songs, by the way, are copywritten, however they were created.

Many of the demos are some jazz standard chord progression. The jazz guitar app songs are all very identifiable as Jazz Standards with made up names and then a jazz guitar solo over the chords. There is a list actually floating around of all the songs and the "real" song the progression came from.

There’s a list? While I’m not surprised, I’ve never seen this.

When you think about how often Pachelbel's 1-5-6m-4 has been used, there HAS to be contrafacts.

Master Jazz Guitar Solos 1-4, Some have not been figured out. Only a couple of them. This is only for that app. As far as the demos in BIAB, nobody has gone through and published any list of what songs the chord progressions come from. Many I am sure are standards in any number of genres.
