I collected the 15 railway photographs for another better instrumental with 'Train' in the title - one of my favourites from my A list - but I found that they're so good they distracted from the music (!) so I changed the music track for this older composition and to my surprise the music and the video work together perfectly ~ though I forgot to adjust the gain on the solos, which is a bit high.

You had me from measure one, beat one.
Super use of RTs and a super mix.
The soundtrack fit perfectly with those great train pictures.
Loved those reflection shots.

Yes, those David Grubler photographs are really first class - I give where each one is taken in the YT blurb - but that's why I didn't want to use a better train instrumental as they distract from the music. laugh This 'Sun Train' instrumental is actually on my B list, but it goes great with the photos. I didn't paste in a SoundCloud link as I think the music comes across less good without the visuals.

Chay, fun tune to go with your visuals! All the instruments sound nice together, though I agree with you the solos could be dialed back a bit. Your photographer did a great job, too. Those trainscapes are spectacular. Hope you have a Merry Christmas! Ron

A fun ride to catch, Chay. Love the little pieces you added to make the excitement build. Excellent choice on the photos, too. So myuch fun for the eyes and ears.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Chay,

Nice tune!

I liked the mix of RT guitar solos with the piano solo.

That is a GREAT example of the power and versatility of BiaB in the hands of a talented user.

Great track selection and mix ... the solo gain seemed fine to us.

The images in the video well support the vibe.

Well done and Happy New Year!

Railroad bridges are (mostly) beautiful structures, and your song seems to be the train itself pushing ever forward.
A beautiful concept that works for me.

I close my eyes and imagine a train journey.
You have the right sound for it racing along the tracks.
Excellent production.

The rhythm track really does have a latinesque train shuffle to it.
Neat fit.
I found myself hoping for a vocal & lyric though.

Cheers

Big thanks to Vic, David, Ray & Guitarhacker for your feedback.
Ray: a vocal track is a future likelihood as long before I arranged the V3: Sun Train" version of the original "Aya Rocks" I'd already begun a work on a rhythm track for vocals. Getting around to it is the problem as I'm nearly always multitasking with various ongoing projects, currently 9!
