hey Tom,
You gotta a hot groove going! Great guitar work - and the pedal steel is smoking. Everything works perfectly. You got talent all over the place, Tom! Always enjoy your recordings. Ya knocked this one outta the park!
Merry Christmas.
Alan Thanks Alan. I appreciate your kind words, Tom "Honkytonk, Jukejoint, Roadhouse, Swing Shuffle Boogie Rockin Country Blues." I love it when you talk like that, Tom. LOVE THIS!! A fun romp. The kind of song that I'd see on our songlist and couldn't wait until the leader counted it off. Love the syncopation at around 2:30. Great band, terrific singer, and it gets everyone out of their seats to slap the floor with their feet. Marty, this one was a lot of fun to work on. Reminded me of the band days. Thanks for stopping by,Tom

Tommy,
Dang now that’s a lot of fine. Excellent production—crisp and clean. Good write with some nice details and specifics. Terrific BGVs. Love the solo and instruments part. Another outstanding tune from you. You make this songwriting thing look easy.
Deej Thanks Deej, Tom There are songs that announce from the first note that you're going to be in for a fun ride. This is one of those songs. Hot band, burning guitar, excellent vocals, solid write, clear mix... it's all there. Fun fun fun! Thank you David. I always appreciate your thoughtful comments, Tom

Hi Tom,
No two ways about it. This sizzles! I love how you've arranged all the instruments, and I loved your guitar and pedal steel playing and your vocals. "Perfecto" all the way! You're one heck of a songwriter and performer!
All the best, --Noel

Nice piece of trad country, Tommy. Excellent production again. “They ate all the furniture” is a great line.

Nice vibe and although I am not quite sure I know what the line means, I do like the Michigan reference!
Dewey Dewey, thanks for stopping by. A Michigan bankroll was when the autoworkers cashed their paychecks they would ask for 20 one dollar bills and wrap their twenties or hundreds around them to make a big wad. Tom Wow, Tom, the red dress ain’t the only thing HOT! You are cooking on this one.
You said, “This one’s a Honkytonk, Jukejoint, Roadhouse, Swing Shuffle Boogie Rockin Country Blues” Yeah man ALL our wheelhouse genres.
We can just see the roadside joint and smell the beer from here. 😊 I It is clear that you’re having fun in your vocals and your guitar and pedal steel sound like they’re jumping with joy.
Your always great mix is hittin' the note and that piano gives a shuffle edge. The entire package sparkles with goodness.
Loved it!
J&B Yes this was a fun one to work on. Thanks for your wonderful review,Tom

Tom,
Perfect Production and Mix. (your mixes outshine everything else around). A good HonkyTonk write. Nicely sung. Very much enjoyed your guitar work. Nice steel (always jealous that you can do that).
Good Listening. (I did want it to be just a bit faster)
fj floyd, thanks for the generous review. I also thought it was dragging a bit , but by the time I figured that out it was too far gone, Tom Tommy...another super song...a country swing is just an uplift every time...the track is just a really tight band doing it right! you are a master musician and great writer!! Dan, I appreciate your comments, Tom

Tom,
It's a great song that gets us really excited. Definitely a Honkytonk, Jukejoint, Roadhouse, Swing Shuffle Boogie Rockin Country Blues. The title "Red Dress" already expresses the content well. Both the performance and vocals are excellent as usual. Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best Regards.
