Thinking of that album and For The Roses caused us to reflect on how so many of your writes remind us of her.
This song flows like a river taking us along with it on your journey.

Lovely nostalgic and poetic story, easy to relate to an important record. Very pleasant arrangement, Oohs add a nice lift in the chorus, the bass sounds great and the piano is used wisely to refer to that record. Great melody, chords and the vocals. Good start for a new year!

This song is very well done in all aspects: the hypnotic rhythm, your vocals, its simplicity, it all worked out beautiful!
Like Brain Thomas, I had some difficulty with pinpointing the lyrics, until I read wich Joni was meant here.
I liked her songs a lot. she was often on tv, but then she faded away (at least in my head). Till now...
What more to say?
