Or maybe it is something else that hangs it also take very long time closing SO when having several tracks with EZKeys2. This can be a very important part of the problem. Things like cCleaner, Anti-Malwarebytes, and anti-virus programs can be set to check each and every file that is being installed or run. If time permits later today I will time my EZKeys 2.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
