Band-in-a-Box VST and Pro Tools/AAX DAW Plugin (Windows)

I don't use Reaper but I almost exclusively use MIDI. When I import a song into my DAW, Studio One Pro the patches do not transfer. I may be wrong but I don't think patch transfer is in the MIDI specifications, it will only transfer GM patch numbers.
Are you sending MIDI tracks, RealTracks, or RealTracks Charts? I have had no problems transferring RealTrack or RealDrums.
