James,
Peaceful indeed... Just a beautiful composition. Some really nice instrument choices and a great mix.
Excellent!

James, this sounds very cool! Love how the changes take you on little harmonic side trips but always resolve back to C. That's peaceful indeed!

James, yes that is a very peaceful piece of music. Super RTs and mix. FWIW - I think it is a great musical bed that is looking for a lead instrument. Nothing harsh but maybe a soft tenor sax or a flute. Note this is just my opinion and other may or may not agree.
Back in my day the only time we started panic buying was when the bartender shouted "last call"!

Interesting chord changing, James. Have to say, as quick as those changes are, I would not label this as "peaceful". Pretty "active", actually... A good mix.

Hi James,
A very nice song! The band is good. Your swirling use of chords never make the song dull. All the time something happens. The only thing that did not happen, while i was expecting it, was you singing/saying beautiful words out of a poem. So I agree with floyd; not peaceful. But nice it is!

Oh wow. Bob: far too kind. Thank you! Ron: thanks! Your comment about the harmonies is exactly what my plan was ... glad it seems to have worked! Mario: thank you. I may add something by way of a solo instrument - we shall see. I'm not 100% convinced with this effort of mine, truth be told ... so I'll see if it's worth the effort in trying to improve it. But thanks so much floyd: 100% agree re: it not being peaceful ... that's why the title "May You Find Peace". It's a wish for the listener to a track that is not peaceful Thanks! Hans: thanks! Glad you liked it. I still think it needs either some more work, or shelving altogether, perhaps - but I hadn't written anything in a while, so - compared to nothing at all - this is, at least, some sort of progress, haha. In any case, thank you so much for listening and for such nice comments!

I'm a melody kind of person, so I'd prefer to some of that, as well as a change in the instrumentation between sections. That said, nice mix!

Ron well stated it, "...Love how the changes take you on little harmonic side trips but always resolve back to C. That's peaceful indeed!"
It would be wonderful if you could find somebody to play the "right" melody over this. That would take it to a cinematic level and a great piece for the sync libraries.
Thought provoking and enjoyable!

Right from the beginning (and I really like the elctric piano) I hear unmistakable James Delsono. Changing chords in the middle of a measure, modulating back and forth, and there is always the melody that I can hear you singing (or saying) throughout. So enjoyable, James. So smooth and relaxing.

Scott: thanks David Cuny: agreed. Not my finest work, in retrospect, but it takes me time to weigh up songs/tracks, once finished. So yes ... I hope to write something containing a melody, next time Janice and Bud: thanks! I'll think about a melody, and even about how to improve the backing track itself. Not sure I quite got what I wanted to achieve, with it, but I'm glad you and others seem to have liked it, anyway David Snyder: thanks Marty: you are way too kind, as always. Maybe one of these days, I'll be able to write something simple and yet beautiful Until then, this is me, I guess Thanks so much for such kind comments and amazing emotional support!!!
