When I was using BIAB on Linux, I'd used ffmpeg to expand .wma files into .wav files.
PG Music appear already to use ffmpeg.
VLC has a library of modules libVLC. (LGPL 2.1).
I'd like to think JUCE does, but I didn't see it.

I think they won't play DRM-coded data.
VLC itself can be run headless like: vlc --intf dummy filename.wma
