Dang Y'all,

Much to do with my consternation, I heard me a song on this here forum by some guy named Alan David about the Blue Ridge and I played it for my neighbur who I call Paw Paw and then he done played it for our Mee Maw, and his mouth was all full of baccer juice and I could hardly understand a word he was saying, but he was saying something about him hating all dem fancy boy Yankee carpet bagging Florida sissy pants writing themselves some  San Francisco songs and they ain't never spent one day in the Blue Ridge and might as well dress up in a petticoat, if that's all they know about Blue Ridge music, and since I've been playing me some mountain music since I weren't but 9 years old that I needed to get up there and show Alan David what time it was, before Paw Paw and Mee Maw died of the slobbering fits.

That picture is the house where I grew up in and I ain't never gonna leave it neeber.

Now this is 230 BPM so if you can't run wif the big dawgs you need to stay on the porch, or crawl under the house. But this is the way ol' Chet and Jerry and I used to play it.

I say Chet, cause that's what most people called him, but his best friends, as you know, called him Chester.

I called him Chester.
