Tom,

Your talent is on display again and man is it awesome! You are a true high quality Country artist! Some outlaw style artist should snatch this one up....that is unless some executive in the industry hears you and gives you a turn in the spotlight! Very high level work here all around!

Take care, TB

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Hi Tommy,

Like the song before this one (and before that, and that...) this is a real catchy song!
I like to join everyone here calling it a killer song or that you can listen all day to it.
It's super!
Your vocal are really made for this type of songs.
Looking forward to the next one!

There are so many lines in this that could be the start of another song. Like this for example:
“I ain’t in too bad a shape for the shape I’m in”

This is clever, fun and an absolute pleasure to hear.
That guitar opening is stuck in our heads. 😊

Your vocals, steel and guitars sound great.
The whole Tom talent package there!

The RTs, loops and the RD all sound great.
As always the mix is high, high bar.

We’re ready to hear the full set!

Now that's country. I love everything about it. My dad played steel guitar in my younger days, and I learned a little bit, but I always say, if it doesn't have a steel or a fiddle, it ain't country!!

Yeah I suppose I could hear Hank Jr doing this song but now that I have Warren Zevon in my mind associated with your voice I can't get it out.

Did you ever listen to Lawyers, Guns and Money??

🙂

Keep on cooking with these man cuz you're doing a great job!!
Thanks David. I haven’t listened much to Zevon. I will have to revisit him.
