Is this the post ? Can I use the same USB drive?I mean, when you point it out in that way, it's a huge amount of difference!
My plan would be to transfer all the data to a separate drive, format the existing BIAB USB Drive to APFS, then install the BIAB macOS version and transfer back all the data. I guess it would be better to do all of that first and THEN do the conversion as transferring that much audio data as uncompressed (ie non-mp3) data would take forever!
PS: oh and I did a search for that Library>Library M folder and could not find it.

I tried Crossover on Linux but again could not get Windows Media Player to work (Biab needs this to work !).
If PG spent a bit of time getting Biab to run under Wine it would solve a lot of issues as you are having now.
Users could use the latest Win Biab 2024 version on Mac or Linux and it would just keep working when they do their weekly OS updates.
Reaper woks under WINE:
"REAPER supports Linux on Intel and ARM architectures, and the Windows version works well with WINE."

Thanks again musocity -the PG Hard drive still has 260+ gig of space left so I if I go ahead with that plan I think there'll be enough space.
Still waiting on PG support to get back to me....

You can leave the NTFS format as is on the Win drive as Biab Mac will read it as it doesn't need write access to it. This is a drive below that I used on the Mac, I renamed the Library to LibraryM then I create a symlink "Library" that points to LibraryM so it works on Win & Mac.
