Hello:

Mac and I have noticed that BIAB tempo will not reset after a song ends IF the song has:

1) a tempo change that lasts until the the end of the song
2) At least one Real Track present
3) EXTERNAL synth selected for midi out.

Under these circumstances, when the song ends the tempo does not reset, but stays set at the slower tempo. So, if you then hit "Play" again, the song regenerates, but at the slower tempo, not the original tempo of the song.

We've also noticed that under the same circumstances above, but with a DXi selected for midi out, the tempo WILL reset.

Mac and I both use the m-audio 2496 card and I was wondering if anyone using an external synth and a different sound card/ midi interface can duplicate this problem.

Could someone using an external synth please create a short song, maybe 8 to 12 bars, and include the following in the song:

1) a tempo change so the song ends slower than it started.
2) at least one Real Track
3) EXTERNAL synth selected for midi out.

What happens when the song ends? Does the tempo reset to the original song tempo or does it stay at the slower tempo of the song's ending?

If the tempo does NOT reset, does the song regenerate at the slower tempo when you hit "Play" again.

Thanks for the help.

John
