Seven years ago I installed it on a notebook that had a 30G c: drive.
And it had lots of other programs as well.
The short answer to that is probably "RealTracks". There are lots and they're quite big.

You might consider swapping the hard drive in your present PC for a new larger one, probably SSD.
They're pretty low cost these days, are usually fairly easy to swap out and would deal with both the space and the issue of having to use the external drive. Laptops are a bit fiddly, but there's usually a howto somewhere on YouTube.
