Dear Mario, Laurent and Dave,

Hey guys, thanks for all the nice words and I'm really glad that you liked it.

Every time I go back on the forum and read all these nice comments, my heart gets a little bit bigger and slowly but surely I think someday somehow I actually might be able to change and have a bigger heart because of you guys who had such big hearts to begin with.

🙂

Dear Marty, Tommy, Bob, Floyd, Laurent and any others I may have missed on the way down,

Thank you so much for taking a chance to listen to my silly little song and making such kind and heartwarming comments.

I know it's only rock and roll, but well, it's all I have to offer. I only know three chords and half of one minor chord.

I keep trying to get Bob Dean to use it but he says he's going to stick to the two chords that he knows.

I got to keep moving on now because I've got more picking to do and more songs to write in order to keep up with the avalanche of super music and awesome hits that are bombarding this forum 40 or 50 times an hour.

Stay tuned.

Hey David, I like this song - I used to listen to Lou Reed many years ago - the lyrics tell a good story.

We get the Tom Petty vibe in the intro but then it’s pure Snyder Rock Anthem.

Isn’t it fun to have something turn out exactly like you want it?! You nailed it.

Good one!

David,

Very nice song!
It's a very catchy sound.
I strongly feel Bob Dylan in this song.
It clearly shows that you really love this style yourself.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

David,

You made a lot of wise choices putting the instrumentation/"snippets" together!
It's sounds full and not lacking anything to my ears!
The vocal is sweet and full of emotion that sounds real to me!
I always enjoy your tunes and you've done it again!

Take care, TB

David, I'm not a technically-minded person, so I've no idea what you did to, and with, this song ... however, whatever you did with it, it WORKS. Brilliant song, in every way. Well done!

Well I was going to mention Tom Petty but I noticed it's already been mentioned so I withdraw it.
Great sound, melody and idea.

Hi David,

Haven't heard this way of singing from you for a long time.
Immediatly when the tones reached my ears I heard that familiair David sound!
That's a compliment, because I like that a lot.
I think a duet with Bob Dylan is not possible, but what a nice sound that would be!

Hans

This one made me smile. Tom Petty is alive and well in this song. Funny, but thoughtful lyrics, excellent backing track and live feel to the production. Very Nice Job
