I've been very creative lately. From mostly Instrumental stuff I've done some Songs too with different Vocalists. My Life is one of the songs with an amazing singer. I prefer to do short songs. Links first and then about the BIAB work:
BIAB: Tempo 120, G Major, _SIMPLY.STY ev16 4/4 only Drums, Bass and Piano with some 1/8 push. I create the song in the main BIAB window, then save and open Logic Pro and use the BIAB plugin to open the Daw Window and then drag Wav files into Logic. From there I start to do play my own instruments. In this case I played Guitar on 4 tracks, Strings on 1 track, and replaced the BIAB Bass with my own Bass playing. Then I sent the music mix to Lillia in Ukraine and she did the singing and sent back a GREAT sing mix. In that she had done 26 tracks of singing mixed down to one file! I did some Mastering and sent it to Spotify, YouTube and a lot of places.
I really love the workflow to start the work in BIAB sitting with a Guitar and the transfer it into Logic. Previously I only did some short Instrumental stuff, around 2 minutes and thought no-one would care about that but surprisingly I have over 8000 monthly listeners only on Spotify, with around 30000 streams, mostly in USA.
Now I'm exited to see what some singing will bring to the table. I have released 5 songs now in January.
For those who need singers to their music I can suggest Fiverr.com where you can hire singers from around the world to sing your songs!
Soren, wow, this sounds GREAT! My only complaint is that it was over WAY too soon. Great job!
I have a very similar workflow to yours, including use of a remote vocalist. The only minor difference is I drag my BiaB tracks directly into my DAW from the main program without using the plugin.
Whatever you're doing is obviously working out really well.
DC Ron BiaB Audiophile Presonus Studio One ASUS I9-12900K DAW, 32 GB RAM Presonus Faderport 16 Too many guitars (is that a thing?)
Thanks a lot! I sometimes use the DAW and open a folder in BIAB and drag the files there but lately I wanted to try the plugin. To be honest it isn't very smooth to work with the music in there, the main program is better. One thing that is really impressive in BIAB is the quality of the Real Tracks musicians. Some of the are top notch! Like using the drummers in BIAB instead of drum kit stuff in Logic or similar is to me a big difference.
Soren...this is really a super song! I love the band you put together and Lillia was exquisite...you are a gifted musician and producer...hope to hear more from you on the forum...Dan

Thanks a lot!! Except the drums and one piano track from BIAB I'm a little one man band, lol. I play guitar mainly, and cheat a little on bass and keyboard. Actually I played this one with my thumb on the bass for the sound.
