Sorry to say that this has been mentioned in the program for decades but was never implemented. There are chord shortcuts that can be typed such as J for Maj7, and there is one for NC (no chord) but it doesn't work. You can see it in /bb/Data/pgshortc.txt
I mention this to the developers every few years. Thanks Matt. It's a pity it has never been implemented. Perhaps sometime in the decades to come a sympathetic programmer will unofficially implement it and leak the secret keyboard shortcut to get it to work.
