Hi, Joanne! Fair warning, had to Google FAWM and Lana Del Ray, so filter my comments with that in mind.
This is a really nice tune! Very well constructed, and the vocals do sound quite lovely. The mix is just about right to my ears. I'd agree that the instrumental break could be a bit more dynamic and/or creative, but cool how you were able to construct the lead line with your MIDI-ized vocal tracks.
Final thought: From listening to a few Lana Del Ray tunes (for the first time, see warning above), most of what I heard is darker and edgier than this happy tune.
THANKS for posting and sharing your process in detail. Sounds like you are maximizing the tools available, and achieving some cool results. Thanks for pioneering all of this stuff!
