I applaud your progress with keys! NICE! Fantastic arrangement, sax was a very nice touch. Lyrics are easy to grasp without cheating. Strong vocals. Good one, definitely not a passthrough tune. Mix is clear & easy listen. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Floyd ... Greg's comment about this sounding like a Jimmy Webb song rings true to me. Like you, he is a master lyricist.
Okay - short and sweet:
Music this good is extremely rare these days. You might be the best songwriter Nashville should have wrapped its arms around but didn't have the common and better sense to do. And - I don't have to exaggerate to say that.

What struck me 1st was your voice...it sits a little differently...in a good/different way.
The sax has a late 70s Raphael Ravenscroftness to it. It's probably just me that hears it as a time & place date stamp.
LOVELY lyrical observations/conversations and a complete FJ bundle of wonderful, heartfelt melody and ideas.

Personal lyrics and singing. Very nice feeling. Sad but love. Sören - thanks for having a listen.... Simple and wistful, full of elegance from chardonnay to satin sheets. "the best i'll have to offer/is my heart/and some closet space" I wish I could express as much with as few words.
The arrangement has lots to offer, cello & sax & piano work together in a very pleasing way. And vocal delivery is emotional singing straight from the heart and to the listeners' hearts.
