"screwed" is what happens when you pay for an advertised service then don't get what the advertisement said you would get. This forum is free to the users even though it costs PGMusic to make it available. IE is free, and therefore disclaimers to its functionality abound. Since both the forum and the software mentioned are free to use... how could anyone be screwed by using them?? What could the user be screwed out of since no compensation was offered or accepted?

Free stuff is offered with the general acknowledgement that no promises or guarantees of functionality are made or implied. Whereas it is legitimate to complain about services that were paid for but not received, it seems like looking a gift horse in the mouth to complain about any aspect of a free service or product.
