Sometimes simplicity speaks louder than too much ... and more clearly.
Beautifully written, arranged, and delivered. The emotion in your vocal is on full display. And it's beautiful.
And having marty on the bass line can't help but improve almost any song.

Hi Dan. Nice to hear another. Okay, I kind of agree and disagree with you. Not much lyrically or musically, but the point gets the point across? Maybe because the point gets across so well it makes the song lyrically and musically say sooo much. This is very good. I didn't know 4:42 could pass so quickly! The entire mix is good, but I really like the way you brought the bass in, and kept it a little up in the mix. Marty did an excellent job on this and really dresses up the melody. Loved it!

Hi, Dan. You can't go wrong with major 7ths! Lovely song, nice build and payoff with the chorus. Wide soundscape. Having less means you can hear the space even more. Nice work on the pianos, too! The sax is very nice, but perhaps Mario can get you a discount on a breath controller. Man, you'd be killer on that. Very pretty!

Hi Dan, Love the melody on this, and of course your vocal is always pure perfection. Sax sounds great, as does the piano and organ. And of course you can't go wrong with Marty on bass  Really well done, very much enjoyed.

Won't repeat all the good stuff that's been said except to say...they got it right! Very expressive song, expertly performed by all.
On a side note, from a too quick read of the post title I was expecting a cover of the Beatles tune "You Know My Name (Look Up the Number)" so I did not open it right away. My bad! This is a much, MUCH better song. Ha!
