Dangling Participles

Hope everyone had a great Valentines Day!

Another Smooth Jazz Fusion piece. It's a genre I've come to like more and more over the past year or so. Hope you like it. All helpful comments and suggestions are appreciated.

I kinda like that Dog-Pig graphic over on Soundcloud! I couldn't resist it!

There's not much smooth jazz I can resist and this has splash of funk!
Nice job.

As for dangling participles, I have vague recollections of them in middle school, and unbeknownst to me, I probably dangle them all the time!

And that pooch is saying "Boss, don't turn me into bacon, I'm really a dog!" smile

For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

I absolutely love your mixes, and this is just one of many examples of why. A lot of unexpected chord changes in this one. Oh, is dangling your participle even legal to do in public!

Smooth... with some unexpected descending lines.

I guess those were those "dangling participles". laugh

Nice!

Alan, this is a lot of fun! The harmonic movement is very lively and you've got the soloist moving right along with it. Very nice! I may have nightmares about the dog-pig/pig-dog/? though...Ha!

I mistakenly read the title as "Entangled Particles" and thought it was a song about quantum mechanics crazy
Smooth and relaxing, but still interesting enough to keep my attention.
Well done, Alan!

Hello Bob,

"Infectious" ... a music creator always loves to hear that! And thanks for mentioning the mix. This was one of my easier mixes.

Best to you,

Alan

HI Brad,

Thanks for dropping in for a listen. And thank you for those very nice comments! And, for the record, it is my understanding you an publicly dangle your participle all you want as long as you keep it covered.

Here's wishing you and all your participles, dangling or not, the very best.

Alan

Nice!

HI David,

Yes, I ihad to dangle those participles in order to cleanly get to the chord that followed.

Thanks for the time to listen and comments so nicely.

Hope you and your fsamily are feeling better soon.

Alan

Hi Folks,

Many thanks! I was always pretty good with grammar in school. I still know how to dangle a participle (uh ... grammatically speaking).

Wishing both of you the very best.
