Hi guys, here's my latest tune, as the name indicates, it's a funk tune and a foot taping one. Hope you all like it. Hi, Mike. I was going to call it a night, but I saw the song title "Funky, Funky Funky" and couldn't resist having a listen. And indeed... it is. The horns fit nicely into the mix, which isn't always the case. I was wondering how you'd build a cohesive song out of these parts, and...you did, and did it well. The horns are cool, but they can't carry the entire song, so just when my ears were getting ready for a change, you brought in the sax. That gave the horns something to play off against, and then the organ solo... Nice!  The ending was... interesting.  I enjoyed this - a fun listen!

Mike, groovy tune! I can't dance, but if I could, this would do it for me. Ha! Sounds like an extended jam by the early SNL house band. Those cats could play...

Mercy, Mercy, Mercy that was funky! You gotta love a B3! Those horns fit perfectly. Outstanding sax ! Mike, you certainly know how to use those RTs Kinda sounds like Tower of Power meets Jimmy Smith - and that is a compliment. loved it PS - to nitpick it need more cowbell

Mike, this is a treat. When that alto takes over the groove gets even better. It reminded me of Sanborn who first played in the Butterfield Band. One of my all time favorites. You certainly haven’t lost your touch. You can put together some superior sounding pieces. Well done, Tom

I listened to this earlier but didn't have time to comment.
Yep - funky as can be! What impressed me was the superior mix. There's a lot going on, yet everything has space of its own - and in perfect balance. And that sax wails! Nice choice!

Very good. Excellent mixing. The saxophone solo is excellent. the bass supports this with a lot of dynamics.
