I'm pretty sure I'm doing things right. I have typed in my chords and chosen a style. The instructions say to double click any chord where I want to start or hit play . Neither work. It appears to be attempting to start because I see a flash of dark gray green in the first lead in bar. And the clock briefly starts but a second or so later it stops without having played anything . Any ideas what might be going wrong here ? I have a fully updated version of 2022. BIAB does work when I hit play on that . I just started with Realband so it has not been used yet so it's not like it worked before and stopped working

odd the way the instructions didn't say anything about using the "generate " button after the song parameters are set up . I happened to find a short video on how well RB works in windows 11 and the gent sets up his song and hits generate and the song plays. Doing that solved my problem .

Yes, that's correct. If you're loading in an MGU/SGU that was saved by Band-in-a-box, then it will auto-generate a song by default, but if you're creating a new song you need to either use the Generate button or one of the menu items for generation.
