I think what is important to understand, is that BiaB doesn't really support any time signature at all. It has that matrix with either 3 or for 'slots' in each cell. Each slot can be a beat, more than one beat, or a fraction of the beat, depending on the style.
I've made one cell two 6/8 bars, a half 6/8 bar, two cut time bars, one cut time bar, 3 fifths of a 5/4 bar followed but the remaining 2 fifths in the next cell, and so on.
Once you get past he each numbered cell must equal one bar of music, it opens up enormous possibilities in BiaB.
Notes ♫ Well, all I know is that the playback of these cut time samba grooves is a half beat/full beat early. They play earlier than the visual, and the step-entry method, which I've paid for, is on the beat, but the rhythm section is not.
