SO beautiful! The strings entry took me a little by surprise - I wasn't expecting that richness of sound; and it was, therefore, a really nice surprise, too. You are an old-style maestro of music, and boy it shows. STUNNING writing; superb, just superb arrangement; and the lyrics, as the others have said: pure poetry. These songs are world-class, and I'm not exaggerating. Why aren't they on the radio? They blooming well should be. I don't know who to compare you to, because I'm an eighties child, and much of the good music that went global was written before my time  - but I can somehow hear some David Bowie in there. But this is YOU, no-one else. Really, really beautiful, evocative song. Respect.
